Plain-language summary: A licence lets you use ClipGuard on your Mac. Buy once and it's yours, with a year of updates. Don't resell or tamper with the licensing, and the app is provided as-is. This summary isn't a substitute for the full terms below.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ClipGuard application ("ClipGuard", "the app") and the clipguard.net website ("the Site"), provided by the publisher of clipguard.net ("we", "us"). By downloading, purchasing, or using ClipGuard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fee, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use ClipGuard on the number of Macs permitted by your licence. You may move your licence between machines by deactivating one device and activating another, within the activation limit of your licence.
You agree not to:
ClipGuard stores your clipboard history and snippets locally on your device. You are responsible for your own data, including backups. Our handling of the limited information involved in licensing is described in our Privacy Policy.
Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Payments are processed by our payment provider. If you are unhappy with a purchase, contact us — refund eligibility and any statutory cancellation rights are handled in line with the policy presented at checkout and applicable consumer law.
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service over time. We aim to keep the licensing and update services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
ClipGuard, its name, logo, and all related content are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a licence to use the app, not ownership of it.
ClipGuard is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You use the app at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use ClipGuard. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.
These Terms apply while you use ClipGuard. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms — for example, by tampering with the licensing system. On termination, you must stop using the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and the courts of the United Kingdom will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of ClipGuard after changes means you accept them.
